Bespoke heated driveway system for private residence
An ice and snow melting system was required for this very long driveway down to a newly built property, to make sure the residents have ice and snow free access in the winter.

HDS supplied and installed 2 x 0.6 metre wide heated tracks on this 75 meter long driveway, to make sure the residents have safe access to their house and parking area.
Using heated tracks compared to heating the full width of the driveway meant we could keep the power consumption and also the running cost to a minimum.
The system is controlled by a HDS fully automatic ice and snow melting control using 2 ground moisture sensors and one air temperature sensor.
