Ramp down to underground parking at residential property
A snow and ice melting system was required for this very steep and sharply curved ramp down to a basement parking area, to make sure the residents have safe access all year round.

HDS designed and installed 2 x 0.6metre wide heated tracks on this 37meter long ramp, to make sure the residents have safe access to the basement garage/ parking area.
Using heated tracks compared to heating the full width of the driveway meant we could keep the power consumption and also the running cost to a minimum.
The system will be controlled by a HDS fully automatic ice and snow melting control using 2 ground moisture sensors and one air temperature sensor.
