Ramp Heating down to basement parking at private property in Essex.
A heated driveway system was required for this very steep and curved ramp down to a basement garage area for this new luxury family home being built in beautiful surroundings.
Technical info:
HDS supplied and installed 2 x 0.6metre wide heated tracks on this 38meter long ramp.
Using heated tracks compared to heating the full width of the driveway meant we could keep the power consumption and also the running cost to a minimum.
The system is controlled by a HDS fully automatic ice and snow melting control using 2 ground moisture sensors and one air temperature sensor.
