Heated ramp system for new built car dealership showroom in Bristol
This new built showroom needed a heated ramp system to make sure staff always have access to all cars parked on the roof without any risk of mishaps due to ice and snow.

HDS supplied and installed 10 x 4455W heated driveway cables to heat this 150Sqm ramp, going from the 1st floor up to the rooftop parking area where it’s open to all weather.
The 10 heating cables were fitted to the concrete re-enforcement bars before being covered with concrete that was left with a tampered finish.
The system is controlled by a HDS fully automatic ice and snow melting control, using 2 ground moisture sensors and one air temperature sensor to minimise running time and running costs.
