HDS designed and installed an ice and snow melting system with 8 x 4455w HDS outdoor heating mats fitted to a concrete base, creating 45m long heated wheel tracks for traffic in both directions at the same time, before being covered with 50mm tarmac.

The system is controlled by a HDS fully automatic ice and snow melting controller using temperature and moisture sensors.
