Ramp with 2 lanes down to underground parking area at new built project which replaced a former hotel
A snow and ice melting system was required for this steep ramp down to an underground parking area to make sure the residents have safe access all year round.

HDS designed and installed 4 x 0.6 metre wide heated tracks on this 35 meter long ramp, to make sure the residents have safe access to the basement garage/ parking area.
Using heated tracks compared to heating the full width of the driveway meant we could keep the power consumption and also the running cost to a minimum.
The system will be controlled by a HDS fully automatic ice and snow melting control using 2 ground moisture sensors and one air temperature sensor.
