HDS designed and installed a heated road system with 8 bespoke outdoor heating mats, to create 2 x 1.0m wide heated wheel tracks on a 65m long road, from the gated entrance down to the luxury properties. The system was fitted onto a tarmac base and covered with 50mm surface coat tarmac.
The system is controlled by a HDS fully automatic ice and snow melting controller using temperature and moisture sensors.
